It's August 8, 2008 and the Games of the XXIX Olympiad are beginning!
I can't wait to watch the opening ceremonies and have already been sneaking a peek of the photos online as Beijing is 12 hours ahead of us. The Olympic opening ceremonies are probably the closest thing to heaven that we'll experience here on Earth - the nations coming together peacefully in one place with the same goal and enthusiasm.
As the games continue for the next 16 days, remember to lift China up in prayer. It is a country full of people hungry for the Truth and my heart has been broken for them! May the Holy Spirit move in a mighty way in 中國!
