For the past two nights, I have left my computer at work. It’s been a very difficult thing to do. I leave the building feeling agitated, anxious, fatigued and feeling as if I should go back inside and grab my computer and rush it home with me. I feel as though I’m going to get home and need to do something and not have my computer with me and that really stresses me out. I did research and a lot of these symptoms are signs of crack withdrawal. Has my computer become my drug of choice? Has it become a necessity? Does it control me and not the other way around?
On the flip side, I did read five chapters of The King of Torts and watched 3:10 to Yuma. All of which would not have probably happened if I had taken my computer home. Maybe I should leave it at work more often. Hmmmm…..

Yep, I did that for a while to break some addictions. I nixed my Facebook and MySpace accounts and deleted my blog. It's amazing how much time we spend on the PC each day.
